6. Essential oils to eliminate mildew’s odor
Add some drops of tea tree and lavender essential oil to equal quantities of vinegar and water. Tea tree and vinegar will get rid of mildew.
7. Grapefruit seed extract
It is another great aliment to use against mildew. Add some drops of grapefruit seed extract to some water and vaporize it on mildew.
Be careful to use this mixture on silicone joints only, for it can leave yellow stains on your tile.
To prevent mildew you need to keep the bathroom ventilated during winter and summer.
