here are 7 simple and effective tips to get rid of lime encrusted in the toilet bowl. Look:

1. Bicarbonate + White vinegar :

vinegar

Baking soda and white vinegar are two of the household products I use for a lot of things. Besides being completely natural, they are really inexpensive. And in the toilet, they work a miracle!

How to do it:

Pour about 500 ml of vinegar into the toilet bowl. With a clean mop, make sure to get it everywhere in the bowl and in the nooks. Leave it on for about 1 minute.

– Then put about 150 g of baking soda in the toilet bowl. Add another 500 ml to 1 liter of vinegar. This will cause a foaming reaction which is very useful in removing impurities. Leave on for about 10 minutes.

– Then use the toilet brush to distribute the solution well around the bowl, emphasizing the encrusted limestone which is located above the water line. Do not flush the toilet.

– Let the vinegar and bicarbonate solution act for a further 30 minutes maximum, brushing once or twice, until the tartar is gone. If there are any left, scrub with the brush. – Rinse by flushing.

2. White vinegar :

With regular maintenance, white vinegar alone can be enough to prevent scaling of the toilet bowl. To do this, use this tip about once a week to be quiet.

How to do it:

– Pour the white vinegar directly around the bowl.
– Leave it on overnight. –

To find clean toilets without scale, all you have to do is scrub the toilet bowl with your toilet brush. -And to rinse, just flush the toilet the next time you go to pee to save water. For an even more practical side, you can even make this anti-limescale spray based on white vinegar.

3. Soda crystals :

The soda crystals are also particularly effective in combating lime in the toilet and descaling the bottom of the very scaled bowl. Check out the tip here.

How to do it:

– Boil 1 liter of water.
– Put on gloves before handling the soda crystals.
– In a bowl, put 3 tablespoons of soda and pour boiling water into the bowl.
– Mix well with the spoon.
– Pour the mixture directly into the toilet.
– Leave it for at least 15 min.
– Then, brush the bottom of the bowl.
– Flush the toilet.

4. Oyster shells :

Oyster shells

When eating oysters, don’t throw the shells away! In addition to being useful for your hens and your plants, they could well become the best anti-lime in the toilet tank.

To do this, simply put 1 or 2 shells in the toilet tank, and use them normally. As it attracts lime, it will come to rest on it rather than on the email of your toilet. Check out the tip here.

5. Lemon :

Lemon is a powerful natural product against limescale.
So, after squeezing a lemon, I collect the half lemons and pass them, pulp side, inside the toilet bowl. And mainly to descale the edges. You can leave it on for a good hour before rinsing off.
At the same time, lemon disinfects your toilet.

6. Coca-Cola :

If we know the corrosive aspect of coca-cola especially for the stomach, we know less about its usefulness for pickling certain surfaces. This is the case of lime in the toilet.
> Just pour a can of coca in the bowl and leave to act for 1 hour. The phosphoric acid contained in coca acts on encrusted dirt and disintegrates tartar in the toilet.
