not a week goes by without a celebrity showing a hair makeover – whether it’s a subtle change in length or style, or a dramatic change in the shape of a full color and a restyling of the cut.
Here are some of our favorite celebrity makeovers in 2019 (note if you’re looking for hair inspiration!).
1. Priyanka Chopra :
Priyanka is known to have shaken her dark hair with copper highlights for a warm, sunny touch, but it was the lightest of all her adventures. We love the contrast between her blonde balayage and her natural hair color.
2. Jesinta Franklin :
The Australian surprise took us by surprise when she cut her long hair into honey and opted for a short platinum blonde haircut at the end of last year. Since then, she has gone a step further with this chic and edgy cut. We love the fact that she kept a lengthy hair at the top so that she can always concoct different looks.
3. Sandra Oh :
Grey’s Anatomy alum and Killing Eve star swapped her long hair and deep side parts for a modern bob and short bangs.
We love the fact that she debuted her new style with so much texture and curls – she and Zoe Foster Blake are definitely leading the way for curly haired girls to adopt styles they previously thought inaccessible.
4. Irina Shayk :

Although we like her iconic color, it is clear that this new dark color creates a perfect contrast with her light complexion. The totality of the points!

Karlie said goodbye to her long blond locks and cut her hair into a short, chopped cut. Her fresh new hairstyle, which falls just below her jaw, has many layers around the face for a fun and chic look.
8. Julia Roberts :
We call it that: Julia Roberts’ new hairstyle will be the news. The actress recently said goodbye to her long signature locks by swapping them for a new elegant bob with elongated shoulders, embellished with fresh blonde highlights.

9. Hailey Bieber :
Hailey Bieber dropped her creamy blonde hair during a recent photo shoot with Adidas for a drastic neon green hair color with vibrant black roots.
To round off the super cool vibe, hairstylist Florida Basallo gave her hair a damp, wavy appearance with lots of texture.
10. Eva Mendes :
Eva Mendes joined the red hair trend of 2019, using her Instagram to display her new auburn hair accented with strawberry. She captioned the selfie: “The strawberry is eternal”.
Hairstylist Mikey Lorenzano helped the actress change her hair color from her bright brown strands to a red shade in March before opting for this summer look that was showcased in April.
11. Alison Brie :
Alison Brie updated her brown hair and went blonde to play a role in her husband Dave Franco’s next film, The Rental.
She captioned the Instagram selfie: “When your husband asks you to” go blonde “for a role … you say yes. The Glow star opted for several shades of blonde for a more natural shade, creating a layered blend. light sand and medium brown.
12. Brie Larson :
Brie has swapped her signature blonde lob for a refreshing short hairstyle. She made her debut with her new short hair at the launch of her friend Melinda Lee Holm’s beauty brand, MLH Sigil Fragrances.
The new Captain Marvel star’s bob is decidedly more trendy, with soft and shaggy asymmetrical layers that perfectly frame her face.

We recently looked at Maisie Williams’ beauty transformations during the eight seasons of Game of Thrones, but none of her dramatic changes are comparable to that of her most recent makeover.
Maisie recently dropped the purplish and pink strands she was swinging on Game of Thrones’ latest press tour for a pale strawberry blonde hue.
She kept her roots dark so that one of this year’s hottest hair colors grew, and her iconic rounded bangs widened a bit to frame her sparkling gray-blue eyes perfectly. It’s unexpected, cool and we love it.

Antony Porowski, of Queer Eye, brings back bleached blond hair and we are not sure what to think about it.

The new one has brow bangs and dark roots and is much thinner than any style we’ve seen before. Although we suspect that this change could be a wig, certainly, we are a bit in it.
22. Emma Roberts :
Emma Roberts was spotted in mid-length chocolate brown waves with a separation from the center in Los Angeles sports. the star was seen a few weeks ago with a short blonde cut shaving her shoulders, I think we can assume she made her thick waves with the help of extensions. Nevertheless, we love this new affordable look on Emma.
23. Lily Aldridge :
We can’t think of the last time Lily Aldridge lost her long brown hair, in fact, the only noticeable update to her hair in recent years has been the curious trend to caramel highlights.
So when she revealed on her Instagram account this blond shag with a jerky and discolored texture, it definitely caught our attention. The sad news? It was just a wig, but we are all for a more permanent change!

Serena Williams adopted a more blond look in the end. The tennis star revealed her latest hair change at “Sports Illustrated Fashionable Fifty” (she was their special cover star for 2019) and we are amazed by her new look.
She lightened her black roots to a warm chocolate brown hue and added a superb caramel blonde color to lighten the face through the lengths.
25. Lucy Liu :
Lucy Liu, star of Elementary and Why women kill?, Charlie’s Angels, made her debut with a significantly shorter cut than her usual long layers. The thick and extremely chic blonde is her first departure from her iconic hair since his foray into blonde in 2018;
